To improve Interteam Communication, there should be a common platform as well as practice for knowledge sharing like common place for their document, weekly basis meeting to share updates etc.
As per me, Best practices can defined as the most efficient (least amount of effort) and effective (best results) way of accomplishing a task, based on repeatable procedures. In this project, best practices are as follows - 1. KT Docuement - capable to provide complete understanding without any human intervention. 2. Documented Quality Guidelines 3. Documented Coding Guidelines 4. Snippets in Code which provides help in review as well as to understand better.
You first need good English to improve the quality of document. Also a proof reader might be useful, a nice layout and better understanding of what you're going to deliver.

We should use PDF instead of Microsoft Word for Client related document which need their sign-off.
